Welcome to FeeSathi ("we", "our", or "us"). FeeSathi is an educational and institute management platform developed for coaching institutes, schools, tutors, and students. We are committed to protecting the privacy, security, and integrity of the personal information entrusted to us by educators, parents, and students.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to provide seamless educational administrative services, including:

• Account Details: Name, phone number, email address, role (institute admin, teacher, student, parent).
• Institute Management Data: Student rosters, fee records, attendance registers, routine schedules, and exam marks.
• Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and IP address for session security and desktop synchronization.

2. Google User Data and YouTube API Compliance

FeeSathi offers an optional YouTube Live & Video Sync integration for verified educators and institutes. When an educator connects their YouTube account:

• Sensitive Scope Used: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly
• Purpose of Data Collection: We read only the educator's public or unlisted lecture videos and channel playlists to display them organized by subject and batch in their students' study portal within FeeSathi.
• What We Do NOT Do: We do NOT access private emails, search histories, personal browsing data, or non-educational videos. We do NOT modify, delete, or upload videos to your YouTube channel.
• Data Sharing & Selling: We do NOT sell, rent, or share any Google or YouTube user data with third parties or data brokers. Google account data is never used for advertising, surveillance, or AI model training.
• Data Storage: YouTube channel identifier, handle, and video links are securely cached in our encrypted Google Firebase database solely for lecture feed rendering.

3. How Users Can Revoke Google Access

Educators can disconnect their YouTube channel at any time directly within FeeSathi (from Settings → My YouTube Studio → Disconnect Channel). Additionally, access can be revoked directly via Google Security Settings at:

4. Data Security

All data transmissions are protected using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS). Database access is strictly governed by Firebase Security Rules ensuring only authorized institute staff and enrolled students can view their respective classroom data.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

User data is retained only for as long as the institute account remains active. Upon written request or account termination, all associated personal records and synced channel tokens are permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.
